About the role

The City of Sydney has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated program manager to join our City Access and Transport team responsible for developing transport strategies, actions and projects that shape and serve our current and future city.

In this role you'll monitor, analyse and benchmark projects and ensure they are delivered to scope, budget and time. You'll also ensure specific issues relating to the bike network are actioned cross-divisionally and resolved based on risk, and manage the cycleway programme reporting and process for active transport grants.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transport Safety/Management, Planning, Project Management, Law or equivalent qualification, or extensive direct experience
  • experience in project/program management in a team environment
  • demonstrated knowledge and experience of active transport planning and proven experience achieving road space reallocation.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
