About the role

The First Nations Leadership team engages with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, internal and external stakeholders to ensure we work with and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

It’s an exciting time to join this team as you’ll help to shape and contribute to designing new ways of working within the team as they adapt to meet the needs of the organisation and the Community.

You’ll lead the First Nations Community Engagement team to deliver high quality engagement strategies and guide the organisation on best practice to engaging with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Communities.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • strong commitment to achieving outcomes with and for the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Communities
  • demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community engagement
  • leadership experience developing and managing a team.
