Location: Anywhere (remote)

Employment Type: 12-month contract (with possible extension)

We’re looking for a deadly First Nations Senior Graphic Designer to come join the team and work on a collection of amazing brands and campaigns. You will be the creative force behind marketing communications, event materials and be able to mentor junior First Nations designers and Marketing trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute creative concepts across various mediums, including print, digital, social media, and web.
  • Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring a consistent and high-quality visual identity.
  • Collaboratively develop designs aligned with brand strategy and objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers and marketing trainees to foster a culture of creativity and collaboration.
  • Stay ahead of design trends and best practices to keep our creative output fresh and innovative.
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders and articulate the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse and impactful work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing (After Effects, Premiere) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, inclusive design and branding principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
